This is to announce a very important initiative on Outcomes Based Education (OBE) which has become a critical need since NBA has adopted this framework after becoming a member of the Washington Accord. Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) requires a new approach to engineering education.
IUCEE in collaboration with BMS College of Engineering and with technology partner, InPods, is offering this unique hands-on workshop on OBE.
BMSCE is the first private institution to be accredited according to the new NBA guidelines after membership in the Washington Accord. This Workshop includes sessions on effective implementation of OBE from several perspectives. It will also address similarities and differences between OBE implementation at autonomous institutions and affiliated institutions. Specific responsibilities of institution level administrators, heads of individual programs and individual faculty will be addressed in specially designed interactive sessions.
Following the two-day Introductory Workshop, a more in-depth Certification Course will be offered in a blended on-line mode to eligible and interested participants.
